Payday treats are THE best.
All I seem to buy on payday is new healthy baking goods, different flavoured nuts butters & gym gear! I am obsessed haha.
So this payday I decided to try a new brand of nut butters, Nuts n More (http://www.nuts-n-more.com). I bought them from Cardiff Sports Nutrition (http://www.cardiffsportsnutrition.co.uk/) because they had all the flavours I wanted to buy. I bought Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter & Cinnamon and Raisin Almond Butter.
I was like a kid in a sweet shop when these were delivered to my work! They are amazing!! If you love nut butters then you HAVE to try them. They have fortified them with protein and flaxseed so they are high in protein and contain healthy omega-3’s. All the butters are great in baking, on rice cakes & apples, and Protein smoothies to add a little bit more protein & flavour. I can’t wait to make some healthy treats with these beauties!!
My current protein shake bottle is pretty pants so decided to also treat myself to a new one! I’ve seen Smart Shake advertised everywhere and I love it! With the added compartments it makes it so convenient to take another supply of protein with you instead of taking your protein powder. The bright colours make it fun too. I highly recommend this product 🙂
A lot of the recipes I want to try use a lot of ingredients that aren’t available at my local supermarket. So I went a bit crazy on Amazon and bought some healthy alternatives that I can use in my baking – Raw Cocoa Powder, Tiana Organic Fairtrade Coconut Flour, Libby’s 100% Pumpkin Pie Puree and Biona Organic Maple Agave Syrup. I’ve got some amazing healthy recipes lined up using all these ingredients and ones that I already have at home. As soon as I get the chance, I will crack on with some baking and share the recipe and my thoughts with you 🙂
Remember – if you’re working hard, you’re allowed to treat yourself every once in a while!
