Ferrero Rocher Peanut Butter Truffles

Ferrero Rocher Peanut Butter Truffles

Ferrero Rocher… mm let’s be honest, who doesn’t love them?! 😛

I’ve always wanted to make my own but they look so complicated and i’m all about quick & simple recipes!

So I put my thinking cap on and experimented in the kitchen to come up with these…

Soooo yum, just look at those layers, oh my!

Yes, that is a ball of Salted Caramel Hognuts Bakin’ Butter 😉

(Available from Cardiff Sports Nutrition use VIAN10 for a cheeky discount!)

And I promise you, they really were super easy to make 🙂 I will admit they’re a bit messy but who doesn’t love licking chocolate off their fingers? 😉

Time for the recipe unveil!

Ingredients to make 6:

Hognuts Salted Caramel Bakin’ Butter about 6 TSP’s

Sukrin Coconut flour 4 TBSP’s

-Sukrin Peanut Flour 3 TBP’s

Cacao powder (I used Kaizen Living, cocoa powder would work too) 3 TBP’s

-3 Large Dates

Coconut Oil (I used LucyBee) 3 TBP’s

-Maple syrup or honey 2 TBP’s

-Crushed nuts of choice to decorate

1.Roll a teaspoon of the Bakin’ Butter to form a small ball

2.Freeze for 10 minutes whilst you make the ‘truffle’ layer

3.Blits the dates with the coconut flour and 1 TBP of coconut oil to form a sticky mixture

4.Take the balls out and roll in ‘truffle’ layer

5.Freeze for 10 minutes whilst you make the ‘peanut butter’ layer

6.Mix the peanut flour with a TBP of water to create a thick paste (you can add more or less water to make it as thick as you like)

7.Take the balls out and roll in the ‘peanut butter’ layer

8.Mix the cacao powder with 2 TBP’s coconut oil and honey/maple syrup then dip the balls in the chocolate sauce
8.Decorate with crushed nuts then allow to set either in the freezer for 15 minutes for the fridge for 1 hour

Share (if you can) with your friends/family to impress them with your cooking skills 😉

Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I enjoyed making it- I’ve been meaning to share it for so long 🙂

Lots of Love,

x ❤ x
